Karen Koh
Biography

Karen Koh is a broadcast media professional and familiar face and voice to viewers and listeners in Asia. Her background is in television news and current affairs, and she has anchored and reported for international media organisations including BBC World, CNBC Asia, CNN International, Thomson Reuters and WSJ Digital.

Karen frequently MC’s and moderates for corporate, government sponsored and NGO events. She has also moderated private events for clients in the arts, finance and luxury goods sectors globally.

She produces and hosts an award-winning radio show on gender and social issues called The Agender Café on Radio Television Hong Kong’s (RTHK) Radio 3 and is also a regular co-host on RTHK Radio 3’s flagship current affairs show “Backchat”. She also produces and hosts live and pre-recorded radio shows and podcasts for corporate clients.

Karen also conducts media and presentation skills training for corporate and public sector clients in multiple sectors ranging from financial services, luxury goods and hotels to print media and education. She is also a volunteer speaker coach for Hong Kong’s TedXTinHauWomen, which holds an annual speaker event.

Karen serves on the Board of Directors of EngenderHealth, a Washington D.C.-based NGO in the field of global sexual and reproductive health and rights.

She also serves on the Board of Governors of Hong Kong’s Foreign Correspondents’ Club.
